Sara Latendresse

Blessed with a warm and natural voice, Sara Latendresse sings about her deepest feelings. Eschewing the narrative structure, this artist focuses on writing lyrics to explore her soul and, by extension, the collective consciousness. She plays freely with her medium, concentrating on the sonority of the words and the vibrations of the music so that she can deliver her own take on truth.

Isabelle Renaud

Isabelle Renaud, a singer-songwriter with a fresh, sweet voice, invites you to an evening of music in an intimate setting, where she tells her stories in such songs as La paix danse en silence and Suivre sa route. She intersperses these works with her versions of traditional childhood lullabies, which were important in the first decade of her career.

Paulo Ramos

The guitarist, singer and songwriter Paulo Ramos learned the rudiments of stringed instruments in his native Sao Paulo, Brazil. Before settling in Quebec in 1986, the versatile musician made his name at home and in Europe. He has played with many bands (doing vocals, guitar, and percussion) and recorded several records, both in Brazil and overseas. Here, he pays tribute to the glory days of Brazilian music.

Nathalie Albert

Back in 2008, this trio wowed music fans with its record "No More Blue". Their second release, "Le Call de l’orignal", delivers a brilliant version of the song "La Foule" along with new, original works. Onstage, the trio is at ease in several musical styles (jazz, Latin, pop), clearly has a good time, and delivers improvised passages with disconcerting agility.

Mike Goudreau Duo Jazz

The Mike Goudreau Duo Jazz does it all – big band crooning, groovy instrumental, dreamy Bossa Nova, New Orleans-style Dixieland jazz and hot blues swing. The duo does covers of big hits made famous by the likes of Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington and, of course, original songs by Mike Goudreau himself. He plays this warm and intimate show accompanied by Jonathan Boudreau on double bass.

Francis Gallant

Francis Gallant presents his life in stereophonic sound to you for the very first time. He's on the road, luggage stuffed with his pop-rock songs about travel, the roads we take along the way, and the people we meet. El Camino Flamenco

The "El Camino Flamenco" guitar duo features Philippe Auger, a guitarist who graduated from the Conservatoire de musique de Québec, and Nicolas de Bonis, another guitar virtuoso. Both excel at the flamenco style and their repertoire runs the gamut of styles, from Paco de Lucia and the Gipsy Kings to Jesse Cook.

Maxime McGraw

Hailing from Tracadie-Sheila, NB, Maxime McGraw has just released his first record. The singer with the captivating voice wraps audiences in an intimate performance of acoustic pop-folk with songs written by Marc Dupré, Wilfred Le Bouthillier, Bruno Labrie, Étienne Drapeau, Christian Marc Gendron, Christian Sbrocca and more. Bruno Labrie

Guitarist and singer Bruno Labrie started performing live at the age of 17. In 2006, after competing on Star Académie, he was asked to co-host the show "Demande spéciale" on TVA. Since then, he has written and composed for several artists on the francophone music scene while also doing his own live shows throughout Quebec.

Christian-Marc Gendron

Along with having starred in the musical revues "Piano Men" and "Crocodile Rock", and opening for Mario Pelchat, this singer-songwriter and accomplished musician has also had five radio hits, including "Si tu veux". Gendron now brings us his solo show, featuring songs from his first record and several from his latest, scheduled for release in early 2014.

John McGale

1 and 2 :30 p.m. | Promenade Deslauriers stage
John McGale wrote and composed a lot of songs that became huge hits for Offenbach on the Quebec music scene, and he played a pivotal role in the production of that band's 20 records. (Offenbach was, in fact, the first francophone band to sell out the Montreal Forum for three consecutive nights). Here, McGale plans an acoustic performance like no other.
