Celebrations on April 10th

On Saturday April 10th, starting at 1:30 p.m., come celebrate the homecoming of Tremblant's athletes, back from the Olympic Games.

A tribute, as well as photos and autographs sessions followed by a cocktail party in honor of our athletes are planned for this day which will be memorable. Be part of the parade!

Erik Guay

  • Birth date : 05/08/1981
  • Home city : Mont-Tremblant
  • Permanent residence : Mont-Tremblant
  • Specialities : Super-G & Downhill
  • 1st Canadian to win the Crystal Globe since 1982

Regular competitor on the World cup circuit since the 2000-2001 season, the Tremblant skier participated in his first FIS competition at the age of 5 and joined the National team in 1998. He reached his first World cup podium in downhill at Lake Louise in 2003 and climbed on the podium 9 other time in downhill and Super-G between 2003 and 2008. He won the golden medal during the 2006-2007 season during the downhill training run in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany. The same year he missed the podium by little in the Super-G training run and finished 4th in the Olympics of Turin. Acclaimed at two occasions Athlete of the Year by Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA), Erik Guay has the opportunity to win a medal at the Olympics of Vancouver this year in his own country.


Jasey-Jay Anderson

  • Speciality : Giant Parallel Slalom

Veteran on snowboard World Cup circuit, Jasey-Jay Anderson plans to crown its last competition year with a victory for his 4th Olympics this winter. The double world champion in parallel and quadruple champion in Giant Slalom in the World cup General classification won a 5th place in snowboard cross in the last Olympics of Turin in 2006. Since its debuts on the circuit of the World Cup in 1996, Jasey-Jay rose 58 times on the podium for a total of 26 first places. The Vancouver Olympics site in Whistler-Blackcomb is the place where he took away the gold medal in the snow-board World Championships in 2005 in Parallel Slalom and in, Jasey-Jay is a hope for a medal in Giant Parallel Slalom.


Brigitte Acton

On the World Cup circuit since 2003, Brigitte Acton participated in Turin’s last Olympic Games in Slalom, Giant Slalom and Combined events.


Anna Goodman

  • Speciality : Slalom

Anna Goodman has been a part of the National circuit since 2004 and raced for the first time on the World cup the same year. This season, she classified in the top 10 for the first time on the circuit of the World cup in Are, Swiss.


Julien Cousineau

  • Birth date : 01/17/81
  • Home city : Lachute
  • Permanent residence : Pierrefonds
  • Specialities : Slalom & Giant Slalom

Competitor on the national Team of Alpine skiing since 1998, Julien Cousineau makes his first start on the circuit of the World cup in 2002. In spite of a wound in the knee in 2006-2007, he is 1st in the ranking of the Nor-Am Cup the next year.


Stephan Guay

  • Specialities : Giant Slalom, Super-G & Downhill

Voted Junior Male Athlete of the Year twice by Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA), Stephan Guay races on the National circuit since 2004 and on the World cup circuit since 2005.


Ryan Semple

  • Permanent residence : Saint-Faustin – Lac-Carré
  • Specialities : Giant Slalom & Slalom

Member of the National Team since 2000, Ryan Semple makes its first World Cup start in 2001. He also participated in the Olympics of Turin in 2006


Jeffrey Frisch

  • Permanent residence : Mont-Tremblant
  • Speciality : Downhill

Member of the National Team since the 2005-5006 season, he ends 1st in the Nor-Am Downhill ranking the same year, which assured him a place in the World Cup the next year.


Ariane Lavigne

  • Specialities : Giant Slalom & Giant Parallel Slalom

Regular competitor on the circuit Nor-Am since the 2004-2005 season, Ariane Lavigne accessed the snowboard World cup circuit in Stoneham in 2009.


Simon Bonenfant

  • Birth date : 08/19/82
  • Home city : Ville Mont-Royal
  • Permanent residence : Mont-Tremblant
  • Speciality : Snowboardcross

Simon Bonenfant participates in the Nor-Am and the World cup circuits since 2005 and obtains his first podium in 2007 in Furano in Japan during the snowboardcross event.
