The Fête de la Musique with Angèle Dubeau as artistic director, the return of a grandiose event!
It is always a renewed pleasure for me to share with you my favourite musical discoveries.
For your enjoyment and entertainment, music will take centre stage for the whole weekend, expressing itself in multiple ways and shapes.
Musicians, singers, orchestras and soloists who are among the greatest will come celebrate the diversity and the musical vitality that defines us so well.
From classical music to jazz, and from our deepest roots to world music, I am inviting you on a musical journey within the majestic setting of Tremblant.
May the festivities begin!
Angèle Dubeau, C.M., C.Q.
Artistic Director

StageMaestro Alain Trudel conducts the Orchestre Symphonique de Laval in a concert dedicated to the Mozart family. As well, discover the music of a friend and admirer of Mozart, Antonio Salieri, interpreted by comedian Albert Millaire.

StageThe glowing Canadian soprano Marie-Josée Lord shares the stage with the four musicians of Quartango in a unique concert where opera blends beautifully with the seductive and elegant rhythms of tango.

StageWell-known for his extended techniques and his distinctive "lap tapping" style, Erik Mongrain is one of the most innovative and talented acoustic guitarist of his generation. For la Fête de la Musique, he is presenting a solo concert that promises to leave the crowd speechless.

StageInspired by dance and folklore, the solo pianist Louise Bessette takes us on a melodious journey across Spain, Cuba and Argentina to mark her 30-year music career.

StageImagine a colourful caravan leading you towards the Balkans, in a world where gypsy rhythms and melodies drift all your worries away. Les Gitans de Sarajevo and their new brass section will certainly put a bohemian twist to the festivities.

StageGet ready to dance to the beats of this afro-québécois Big Band of 8 musicians and singers. The mix of Mandingue music, electric guitar, djoula songs and djembe beats will surely get your feet moving.

StageAcclaimed harpist Valérie Milot and violinist Antoine Bareil, accompanied by Christian Prévost (violin), Marjolaine Goulet (horn) and Dominique Girard (contrabass), will present an exclusive concert featuring the greatest works of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.

Join radio host Philippe Fehmiu for a little dancing and/or lounging as you sip on his international musical cocktail of world music beats carefully selected for the occasion.
The show will be broadcast live on Espace musique (100.7 FM in Montreal - 91.1 FM in Mont-Laurier).
