 For an alpine snowboarder, there's nothing better than a beautiful, long, well-groomed run. When I'm home, I make it to the First Tracks and train with Tremblant’s team. Days like these are priceless!

Summary As a member of the Canadian National Team, Ariane has been racing on the World Cup circuit since 2009. She won third place in the parallel GS snowboard event at the 2013 World Cup in Sochi, her best result to date. Canadian champion in the parallel slalom category in 2011 and 2014, Ariane also won the Nor-Am Cup in 2011 and participated in the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.

Objective

Work hard and reach the World Cup podium as many times as possible.


Other Interests

In addition to training on a full-time basis, Ariane provides nutrition consultations at the Action Sport Physio Mont-Tremblant and CSSL de Saint-Sauveur clinics. She likes to encourage athletes and active people to opt for a healthier diet in order to reach their full potential and achieve their objectives. In 2008, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition at University of Montreal. She also received a Sport Nutrition diploma from the International Olympic Committee. During her free time, Ariane practices other sports such as cycling, kiteboarding, yoga, tennis and running.

  • 3rd position in the parallel giant slalom event at the World Cup in Sochi, Russia
  • 5th position in the parallel giant slalom event at the World Cup in La Molina, Spain
