IRONMAN Attracts Top International field for 2014 Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship Mont-Tremblant Triathlon

September 2, 2014 – Nearly 2,500 of the world's top athletes will converge on September 7 in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada to compete in the 2014 Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship. The oldest participant, Bob Scott, an 83 year-old man from Naperville, Illinois and the youngest, Emma Langley, an 18 year-old female from Cos Cob, Connecticut are among the competitors hailing from 87 different countries in hopes of winning an age-group World Championship title.

16th Edition of Fête de la Musique – Overview

September 1, 2014 – In a church filled to the rafters, the festivities around the Fête de la Musique à Tremblant opened with Natalie Choquette. The diva set the mood for the festival with an electrifying performance before a thrilled audience. With over 40 free concerts carefully selected by the Artistic Director Angèle Dubeau, festival‐goers were also treated to a whirlwind of activities that brought a touch of magic to Tremblant's pedestrian village, all weekend long.

Station Mont Tremblant in Running for Phénix Environmental Award

August 21, 2014 – Because the environment remains a top priority in Station Mont Tremblant's sustainable development plan, a number of actions were undertaken in regards to nature preservation. One such action drew considerable attention by winning l’Association des Stations de ski du Québec’s Environment & Sustainable Development Award as well as a nomination for a Phénix Environmental Award – a highly sought after industry distinction now in its 17th year. It was Tremblant's residual waste reduction programme implemented to decrease landfill matter by adding composting to the selective triage stations that were already in place.
