Tremblant: The Playground for Families This School Break

January 13, 2015 – This February 14, Tremblant is set to launch its School Break celebrations under a Play theme. On the mountain and in its pedestrian village, everything is tailored for families to spend quality time in a flurry of open‐air group games, with assorted special offers and fresh new Ski & Stay deals. 1,400 Kids Enjoy Free Access to the Mountain

January 6, 2015 – Tremblant is proud to announce the return of the MON Tremblant Programme for a second consecutive year, from January 7 to 29, 2015. Following its first appearance as part of the ski area’s 75th anniversary celebrations, once again the initiative is inviting 1,400 children from 10 neighbouring elementary schools to try a slide sport for the first time, at a special introductory day that includes their day lift ticket, a two-hour lesson and their rental equipment, all offered free of charge.

A few days ago, the well-known chain’s signature sign was raised across its facade after a $3.2M investment on guestroom and front desk renovations, and a new Express Start™ breakfast bar. The Tam-Tam Zone – Big Fun for Small Riders

December 19, 2014 – Tremblant is adding the finishing touches to its new TAM-TAM Zone scheduled to open over the Christmas Holidays. Dedicated to kids between the ages of 3 and 12, this new snow zone favours learning through play. Accessed via the Lower Nansen, the narrow trail is enhanced with assorted games as it winds its way through forest and glades. Featuring 8 sculptures of animals that live in the Laurentian forest, each sculpture proposes a slide tip and a safety regulation drawn from the Mountain Code of Conduct. Further down, youngsters also discover a tree house equipped with footbridges, a slide and tam-tams.

First Edition of Tremblant Alpine Touring Festival

December 16, 2014 – Tremblant is hosting the very first edition of its Alpine Touring Festival his January 9 to 11, 2015. Neophytes and skilled skiers alike are invited to the resort to take part in clinics, equipment demos and tours, including a Night Crossing promising powerful memories. Treks are guided by experienced alpine touring enthusiasts, including event spokesperson Simon St-Arnaud, who is also known as L’Aventurier Alpin.
