Lesson description

We advise you to arrive on the premises at least 1 hour before the start of the lesson to pick up your equipment.

  1. During the 2 hours and 15 minutes lesson, the instructor begins by introducing himself or herself and describes the course of the lesson.
  2. After the introductions, the instructor will describe the equipment and demonstrate its usage. The instructor also ensures that the students are appropriately dressed.
  3. Students then learn to develop mobility and learn to walk with boots and move around with their equipment.
  4. Students will learn how to adopt a strong athletic and dynamic position for skiing or snowboarding.
  5. Next comes the moment you’ve been waiting for... sliding! The instructor will show students how to slide, control speed, stop and change directions.
  6. At the end of the lesson, the instructor will give a few extra tips and propose the next steps to follow in order to continue the learning process.

The Learn to Ride Program uses a learning course on flat terrain, with small modules, specially designed for kids aged 3 to 6 (snowboard no longer than 100 cm). The course is located at the base of the Onésime learning area (close to the Sommet des Neiges).
