We advise you to arrive on the premises at least 45 minutes before the start of the lesson to pick up your equipment.

  1. During the 2 hours and 15 minutes lesson, the instructor begins by introducing himself or herself and describes the course of the lesson.

  2. After the introductions, the instructor will describe the equipment and demonstrate its usage.

  3. The instructor then ensures that the students are appropriately dressed. Students then learn to develop mobility and learn to walk with boots and move around with their equipment.

  4. Students will then learn how to adopt a strong athletic and dynamic position for skiing or snowboarding.

  5. Next comes the moment you’ve been waiting for... sliding. The instructor will show students how to slide, control speed, stop and change directions.

  6. At the end of the lesson, the instructor offers tips for the future and the next steps to work on in order to continue the progression of the sport.

This is your first time on the mountain?

Using the lifts

Getting on and off ski lifts seems quite easy. However, disregard for instructions causes 98% of all momentary lift stoppages. Follow these guidelines and maximize your time on the slopes!

Clothing and Accessorize

The best way to dress for winter is to wear layers. This gives you flexibility to add or remove layers, depending on the weather and your activity.

Code of Conduct

Know the mountain code of conduct. Be safety conscious. It is your responsibility!
