Warranty Services |
The warranty program provides one (1) year coverage on all building defects, three (3) years on latent defects, and five years protection against structural defects in the building. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of materials, nor premature wear caused by abusive use, but covers defects. Before the delivery of the unit to the proprietor a meticulous inspection is made of the residences, carried out by a group of professionals from the project and under the supervision of Intrawest Placemaking. Following this inspection all reasonable deficiencies are identified and corrected.
Intrawest Placemaking Warranty Services is responsible for the follow up of the units' warranties. For this reason all requests should be sent to them by fax or email.

Private Spaces ( Residence)
The owner is responsible for advising Intrawest Placemaking Warranty Services of any major default in the interior of the unit before the expiration of the warranty, 11 months after taking possession of the unit.
The majority of the appliances, such as washer and dryer( if applicable), fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave are normally covered by the manufacturers one year warranty. It is the owner's responsibility to fill out the appropriate warranty forms for each of the appliances when he/she takes possession of his/her unit. In order for the warranty program to be valid, the appliances must be used according to the manufacturers recommendations. During the first year, it is important to always communicate with the manufacturer's representative and to make sure he is accredited.
Common areas
All major deficiencies must be transmitted to Property Management who will then ensure a follow up with Intrawest Placemaking Warranty Services.
Note :
In order to ensure the validity of the warranty program, it is strongly suggested to maintain your residence at an average comfort minimum temperature of 15°C during the first year. You should also avoid any excessive variations of temperatures. A hot temperature while you are in the residence and then cold when you leave can provoke abnormal distortions of the wood and drywall caused by humidity and dryness.
