Equipment rental : What you need to know


Here are some important facts you need to know when you rent equipment at Tremblant's Rental Centers. Please note that location costs are based on the arrival date, so period overlapping is not permitted.

To prevent stolen equipment:


NEVER LEAVE YOUR EQUIPMENT UNATTENDED OR UNLOCKED. Lost, stolen or incomplete rental equipment will be charged to the lessee at the full detail price.

Many spaces are provided on site to lock your equipment. Protect yourself and your vacation happiness... never leave equipment unattended, always lock up your gear.

Take notice of your identification ski or snowboard number which is on your rental contract. It is important to always carry with you a copy of the contract.


Refund and cancellation policy:



For any modification or cancellation of products 3 days or more prior to your arrival, products can be entirely refunded.

For any modification or cancellation of products within 2 days of your arrival, the products can be exchanged for other products of equivalent or superior value, but cannot be refunded.

For any modification or cancellation of products or private (or semi-private) lessons, fees of $25 per person plus royalty and taxes will be applied.

No refund after taking possession of the rental equipment.


Equipment return:



If you do not return your rental equipment according to the date indicated on your contract, the value of the equipment will be charged on your credit card as follows:

High performance skis: from $750 to $1350;
High performance snowboards: $1000;
Regular or junior snowboards: $600;
Regular skis: $450;
Junior skis: $300;
Ski or snowboard boots: $400;
Ski poles: $30.


Damage Waiver Protection



It is included with all equipment rentals, protect yourself from costs of damage to our rental gear with our 'Damage Waiver Protection Plan'. Forget about the worry of damage caused by hidden rocks and debris while skiing or riding. Purchase this protection before you ride and all the little nicks, cuts and core shots will be taken care of by our Tuning Centers.

Please ski or ride inbounds. The 'Damage Waiver Protection Plan' does not include damage caused by reckless skiing/riding. In addition, a priority of $75 will be charged.


How to claim your equipment



If you pre-booked rental:


For all rental bookings completed in advance and if you completed the online rental form, you should take possession of your equipment at the Centre Aventure of the Sommet des Neiges. Present yourself with your rental contract copy given by your hotel front desk as well as a credit card for the deposit guarantee.

If you didn't pre-book:


And are staying at the Suites Tremblant, the Homewood Suites by Hilton, the Marriott Residence Inn, the Club Intrawest and with Sunstar, present yourself at the Centre Aventure of the Sommet des Neiges.

For those staying at the Fairmont Tremblant Hotel, present yourself at the boutique Sport 360.

For those staying at the other hotels (and for visitors without lodging), present yourself at the Centre Aventure of the Sommet des Neiges.

Exceptions for the following equipments:


Cross-country and Learn-to-Ski program: at the Centre Aventure of the Chalet des Voyageurs;
Snowshoes and Telemark: at the boutique Explore (open all season long);
Snowboard HP and snowboard adult Learn-to-Ride program: at the boutique Burton@Tremblant.


Recommended Ski type:


High Performance Skis: for expert skiers;
High Quality Skis: for intermediate and advance skiers;
Intermediate Skis: for beginners and occasional skiers;
Kids skis: For 12 years old skiers and less.


Recommended Snowboard type:


High Performance Snowboard: for expert riders;
Intermediate Snowboard: for beginners and occasional riders;
Kids Snowboard: for 12 years old riders and less.


Ski Valet service


The Ski Valet service located on the south side at the bottom of the ski lift "La Télécabine" will allow you to store your equipment safely. If you are in lodging, the hotel offers you this service.
