Tremblant Park is a vast territory offering an abundance of nature; rolling hills, lakes, and rivers. In order to discover and appreciate this landscape from an all new perspective, we offer a unique mountain experience through the Via Ferrata Du Diable. Hugely popular in Europe, “via ferratas” or “iron roads” have slowly been springing up all over Quebec these last few years. The park is open year-round. Approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Montreal and less than 3 hours from Ottawa.

Description
Premiering in Quebec’s national parks and wildlife reserves, this exciting route is built onto the Vache Noire rock wall. Located in Mont-Tremblant park, the Via Ferrata promises to be chock-full of surprises! Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced hiker, you will never forget this adventure, which you will embark on with a guide. Clipped into a steel cable that runs the length of the cliff, you will cross a challenging face with built-in steps, handles, beams and various types of bridges while overlooking the meandering Diable River far below. After making a 200-metre ascent, you will be struck by a spectacular view of the mountains and horizon.
No rockclimbing experience is necessary to experience the via ferrata. A brief course will help you learn the basics of via ferrata before tackling the trail. All required safety equipment is provided.
VIA FERRATA DU DIABLE - THE FAMILY EXCURSION500 metres long, this via ferrata takes approximately 3 hours including a 20-minute walk back to the departure point. Minimum age for this activity is 8 yrs old.

Identification card is required and held as a security deposit to ensure the return of harnesses. Rates may be subject to change without notice. Taxes and resort royalty are extra.
VIA FERRATA DU DIABLE - THE EXCURSION500 metres long, this via ferrata takes approximately 3 hours including a 20-minute walk back to the departure point. Minimum age for this activity is 12 yrs old but we also have some family excursion departures tailored to children 8 years old and up (see the Family Excursion activity).
