You have never put on a pair of skis? Tremblant Snow School's My First Day - Learn to Ski lessons are meant for you! This group lesson allows you to take your first step with your equipment and gain confidence in our learning areas before challenging the mountain! For all ages. This lesson can only be booked once.

  • This lesson is intended for guests who have no ski experience.
  • Children (3-12) may go on the mountain with their instructor, if the instructor deems them capable and if the entire group is ready.
  • Lift ticket included for children (3-12). Magic carpet ticket included for adults (13+).
  • Complete equipment rental included.
  • If you want a specific instructor, you must book a private lesson.
  • Lessons are available in the morning or afternoon for adults and all day for children.
  • Supervised lunch hour and meal included for children.

      Validity
      • This lesson is intended for beginner-level guests. The experience is limited to the magic carpet and no lifts will be taken during the lesson.
      • This product is available 7 days per week during the 2023/24 ski season.
      • Dates are subject to change according to weather and snow conditions.
      • Season opening and closing dates can vary according to weather conditions.

      Purchase and Booking
      • Purchase at least 48 hours in advance online or by phone at 1-866-661-1366, or in person at all times at multiservices centres.
      • Subject to availability.
      • A valid credit card is required upon booking and full payment will be charged in order to guarantee booking.
      • All guests taking lessons must sign the risk recognition and acceptance form (any type of lesson). A parent can sign a single form for more than one child by entering the name of all children. One form is required per season.

      Delivery
      • We advise you to arrive at the Centre Aventure Sommet des Neiges at least 1 hour before the start of the lesson to pick up your equipment.

      Refund
      • Refundable up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to first planned day of use. Not refundable past this period.

      Restrictions
      • If you want a specific instructor, you must book a private lesson.
      • Non-transferable.
      • Helmets are mandatory for children 12 years old and under.

    • Lesson description
      We advise you to arrive at the Centre Aventure Sommet des Neiges at least 1 hour before the start of the lesson to pick up your equipment.

      1. The instructor begins by introducing himself or herself and describes the course of the lesson.
      2. After the introductions, the instructor will describe the equipment and demonstrate its usage. The instructor also ensures that the students are appropriately dressed.
      3. Students then learn to develop mobility and learn to walk with boots and move around with their equipment.
      4. Students will learn how to adopt a strong athletic and dynamic position for skiing or snowboarding.
      5. Next comes the moment you’ve been waiting for... sliding! The instructor will show students how to slide, control speed, stop and change directions.
      6. At the end of the lesson, the instructor will give a few extra tips and propose the next steps to follow in order to continue the learning process.
