For the past 12 years, Simon has hosted several TV shows devoted to skiing. Alpine touring is one of his passions and he has visited nearly 75 ski resorts around the world!


    • Our guided group outings combine physical activity and contemplation of nature. To pick the right outing, refer to the physical skill levels that seems best adapted to your own situation (Curious, Enthusiast, Expert).

      • This activity includes: a friendly group outing to launch the Festival! Join us for an ascent of the mountain and a run down one of our marked trails. A nice way to start this festive weekend of alpine touring and outdoor activities. End the evening with us at the Octobar to celebrate the opening of the Festival!

      • This 1.5-hour activity with Vélo Mont-Tremblant is intended for cyclists of all levels.
      • Meeting site: Exhibitors’ Village
      • This guided tour includes: ride in the mountain-biking trails maintained by Vélo Mont-Tremblant near the ski area. Fatbike rental offered at the Centre Aventure during the event only and at the Passant boutique Chalet des Voyageurs prior to the event.
      • Registration Fee: $19.99 (includes the daily access to Vélo Mont-Tremblant trails)

      Discover alpine touring

      • Schedule: Saturday at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m.
      • This 1.5-hour activity is intended for Curious participants.
      • Meeting point: Exhibitors’ Village
      • This activity includes: meeting with your guide, gear presentation, fundamentals, partial mountain climb, and one run down a marked ski trail.
      • Registration fee: $9.99 (includes the Alpine Touring daily access)

      Explore the forest in good company

      • Schedule: Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
      • This 3 to 4-hour activity is intended for Enthusiast and Expert participants.
      • Meeting point: Exhibitors’ Village
      • This activity includes: technical advice, skill upgrading, tour to the summit of Mont Tremblant, trail discovery and one run down a marked ski trails.
      • Registration fee: $19.99 (includes the Alpine Touring daily access)
      • Mandatory registration
      For this activity only, you’ll have the opportunity to climb unmarked trails with Simon St-Arnaud, alpine touring adept. He will give you tricks to find your route, no matter the path you choose.

      • Schedule: Saturday at 9 a.m.
      • This 3-hour activity is intended for Expert participants
      • Meeting Point: Exhibitors’ Village
      • This activity includes: technical advice, skill upgrading, full ascension of mount Tremblant, trail discovery and one run down a marked ski trails.
      • Registration fee: $19.99 (includes the Alpine Touring daily access)

      • Schedule: Sunday at 9 a.m.
      • This 2.5-hour activity (half course) and 4-hour activity (full course) with a lunch break and is intended for Enthusiast and Expert participants.

        • Half Course: Total ascent: 700 metres
        • Full Course: Total ascent: 1,050 metres

      The Vieilles Pō (meaning "Old Skins" - a group of backcountry skiing women) invite you to join them for a gradual climb of the mountain.

      Whether you are Curious, Enthusiast or Expert, you’ll find a challenge for your ability level! Three rejuvenating stops will be suggested during the ascension. Guides will be there to encourage you to either reach the next level or accompany you for an equally challenging ski run.

      • This activity takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on your stride

      • This activity includes 30 min of yoga/stretching with a Lolë ambassador

      Join us for the launch of the 4th edition of the Festival Rando Alpine Tremblant during the opening celebrations that will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Octobar. To better get into the weekend’s ambiance, several outdoor short films will be presented in a festive and warm atmosphere, in the company of mountain enthusiasts!

      Shape your own Throwback with BURTON

      The 2 winners of the DIY contest will see their design become a reality. The lucky ones who will have won a board at the festival dinner or in Burton Tremblant shop contest will receive an unshaped Throwback and will be able to draw the curve of their choice.

      Make your way to Fat Mardis at 2 p.m. to celebrate the end of a beautiful weekend, share your experience with other participants and get the chance to win one of the many prizes that will be drawn.

    • SkimoEast Festival Race La course du Festival SkimoEast welcomes racers in the following disciplines: alpine touring and snowshoeing. It is held on safe courses that are custom-designed for the festival. Whether you are looking for a personal challenge or merely wish to have fun on the mountain, there’s a race for you.

      • This race is intended for all
      • Race sanctioned by SkimoEast
      • Start: Sunday at 11 a.m.
      • Both the Sprint and Endurance events will be held on a 3.5-km course

      Sprint event
      The winner will be the participant with the fastest lap.

      Endurance event
      The participant with the most laps (and the first to cross the finish line with that number of laps) wins the event.

    Validity
    • Daily access to Tremblant alpine touring trails and to Vélo Mont-Tremblant mountain biking trails are required to take part in Festival outings.
    • Alpine Touring and Fatbike daily accesses are included in the Festival Rando Alpine registration fees during the duration of the event, from February 2 to 4, 2018.

    Purchase and registration
    • Festival Rando Alpine activities that require payment must be booked online in advance. It is also possible to register onsite via our electronic tablets up to one (1) hour before the start of the activity.
    • On the day of the activity, you must register at the Festival Headquarters located at Centre Aventure at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the activity with your electronic ticket (60 minutes for the SkimoEast race). Please rent your equipment before you check in (allow 30 minutes for that process).
    • Proof of purchase and photo ID required for registrations.
    • A release and discharge of responsibility form must be signed and presented before the activity.
    • Royalty, taxes and rental equipment extra. Service fees for Fondue dinner included. Rates, royalty, taxes and service fees are subject to change without notice.

    Refund
    • Activities can be refunded up to 72 hours before the planned time of the activity.
