Refer to the list of mandatory and highly recommended equipment for each race distance. These items can make a huge difference for you in the middle of the forest, waiting for help or simply to be able to continue on your way to a place where help can come to you more easily. Staying mobile is a survival principle not to be forgotten.

Cups and/or food containers
No cups will be handed out at the various aid stations. At the very least, have a collapsible style cup (hydrapak or equivalent). Water bottles may be refilled at the rate our volunteers can support (calculate your needs based on the other aid stations available, water is heavy to carry, but also essential to your well-being).

EpiPen
For people with severe allergies that could endanger their life during this event.

Whistle
A call for help is clear when the whistle is used.

Personal emergency food
if you find yourself waiting for help, coming to the aid of another injured person, or getting lost, you'll be glad to have a few easy-to-ingest calories with you (bars, gels, jujubes, etc.).

Survival blanket
In hot or cold weather, a survival blanket helps to regulate your body temperature. When you're waiting for an evacuation due to an injury, a blanket will save you a lot of discomfort.

Breathable waterproof windbreaker
In cold or wet weather, this item helps you regulate your body temperature and saves you lots of energy.

Tuque (bonnet ou bandana)
We lose 30% of our body heat through our head... this is an item that can work miracles.

Earphones
Out of respect for other runners and volunteers on the course who may need to communicate with participants, we prohibit earbuds and headphones that block the inner ear or completely cover the ears.

 Start, Finish and aid stations

  • All race starts will take place at Place Saint-Bernard, located in the pedestrian village. The finish line will be on the Onésime carpet.

  • For all other distances, the pre-race briefing mandatory for all athletes will be held 5 minutes prior to each start.
  • Aid stations will offer water and energy drinks. A post-race refreshment area will welcome all runners at the finish line with water, fruit, and warm vegetable broth. Please note that all participants must bring their own cup or bottle, as no containers will be provided on site.
