Downhill
Protect the mountain
- It is forbidden to climb or ski down the mountain outside of mountain operation hours. Alpine touring is permitted from 7:45 a.m until 30 minutes after the Express Gondola closes.
- Do not enter a closed trail. Climb only in designated trails and on the edge of one of the three marked ski runs on the map (Nansen, Algonquin and Beauchemin). Stay visible and climb in single file, never side by side
- Make sure your physical fitness level is adequate for the climb and bring appropriate clothing since temperatures at the summit are often colder than at the base. Don't forget a water bottle and food.
- Don’t climb by yourself, and bring a charged cell phone. Please note that cell phone services are limited at some locations on the mountain and that some trails are not patrolled. Basic First Aid knowledge is highly recommended.
- There are risks inherent to alpine touring and snowshoeing. You may encounter snowmobiles, grooming machines, snowmaking equipment, obstructions, skiers and/or riders. Be careful!
Downhill
- Only go down on marked and opened trails and follow the Mountain Code of Conduct at all times.
- If you plan on using the Express Gondola to get down, inquire about its hours of operation.
Protect the mountain
- Don’t litter. You will find garbage cans and recycling bins at the base of the gondola and in the summit’s Grand Manitou during operating hours.
- Do not feed the animals.
- Dogs are not permitted on the trails.
- It is forbidden to camp on the mountain.
- Don’t build a camp fire and don’t throw your cigarette butts in nature; not only can they start a wild fire, they are made of plastic fibers and do not decompose.
In case of emergencies
- For emergencies, please contact Ski Patrol at 819-681-5911.
- Station Mont Tremblant reserves the right to charge a fee of $250 or more for assistance required outside of operating hours or outside marked and opened trails.
